Alcatel One Touch Idol Mini

The Alcatel One Touch Mini is a mid-range smartphone announced in the first week of August, 2013. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor based on ARM Cortex A9 architecture and 512 MB of RAM. The phone has either 8 GB of internal storage space and lacks a MicroSD card slot. This smartphone comes with multiple sensors such as accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor and a magnetic compass are present.

The One Touch Mini comes has a 4.3 inch IPS LCD capacitive multitouch screen with a resolution of WVGA (800 x 480) taking its pixel density at 228 ppi. The screen is coated with oloeophobic layer to reduce fingerprints and smudges. There are three capacitive buttons at the front and the volume rockers, power button reside at the sides of the device. The power on/off button is present at the top of the device. The back is non-removable and the phone has an extremely thin profile with a waistline of just 7.9 mm. The phone is very light at just 96 grams.

This device from Alcatel comes with a 5 MP camera sensor with autofocus lens, LED flash and the ability to shoot 720p HD videos at 30 frames per second. The rear camera also has options such as touch focus, face detection and geo-tagging. There is VGA camera at the front which can help in video calling, video recording or shooting self-portraits.
