Design and Display
In terms of design, the Apple iPad Air 2020 features squared-offsides, and there is no home button at the front. The tablet measures 247.6 x 178.5 x 6.1 mm in dimensions and weighs 458 grams. The 10.9-inches display offers a resolution of 1640 x 2340 pixels, 264ppi pixel density, and has a brightness of 500nits. The tablet comes with an oleophobic coating that makes it fingerprint-resistant. The tablet draws its power from the non-removable 28.6 watt-hour battery and runs on the iPadOS v14 operating system.
Camera and Security
The new Apple iPad Air 2020 sports the same 12MP rear camera in the camera department as in the iPad Pro. It packs a Back-illuminated sensor (BSI) for enhanced low-light performance. Upfront, there is a single 7MP selfie camera with a Retina flash. The tablet bears a fingerprint sensor on the top for biometric authentication.
