Asus has unleashed the fourth generation of its gaming smartphones dubbed as the ROG Phone 5 series. It includes three models- the ROG Phone, ROG Phone 5 Pro, and ROG Phone 5 ultimate. Coming to the ROG Phone 5 Pro, the smartphone sports a 6.78-inches ROG Vision Color PMOLED display offering a screen resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels. It is HDR10+ certified and offers 800 nits of brightness. Speaking of the cameras, the device features a triple camera setup on the rear, having a 64MP primary camera with Sony IMX686 primary sensor, a secondary 13MP camera, and a 5MP macro shooter. The phone also packs a 24MP front-facing camera. The device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor paired with 16GB RAM on the processing front. In the storage department, the phone ships with 512GB onboard internal storage with no expandable memory option. The gaming smartphone is fueled by the massive 6000mAh battery capacity that is split between two cells. It includes support for 65W fast-charging. In the software department, the phone runs Android 11 with ROG UI on top. For optics, the device boasts an impressive camera configuration with a triple rear camera set up (64MP+13MP+5MP) and a single 24MP selfie camera. Design-wise, the smartphone sports a RGB light under the RGB logo on the back of the phone.
