Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G

Asus is introducing a new smartphone model in its popular ROG Phone 5 lineup dubbed as the Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G. The device basically offers similar specifications as that of the other ROG Phone 5 devices, except that it comes with a new Snapdragon 888 Plus processor. The Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G sports a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ 1080 x 2448 pixels resolution. The display panel offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of  395 PPI. The device comes with 16GB of RAM and packs 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 11 out of the box with ROG UI skin. The optics department of the device is handled by a triple-camera setup. The rear-facing camera module houses a 64MP primary main camera, 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5MP macro lens. On the front side, the handset comes equipped with a 24MP selfie camera unit. Connectivity-wise the handset offers dual-SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac/, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C port. The Asus ROG Phone 5s 5G comes with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that has Full HD+ 1080 x 2488 pixels resolution. As mentioned above, the display panel offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a pixel density of 395 PPI. The power button and the volume rockers on the device are placed on the right of the phone. For security purpose, the phone comes equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Apart from the fingerprint sensor, the device also has a software-enabled face unlock option.

Asus is making use of the latest Snapdragon 888 Plus octa-core chipset for the ROG Phone 5s 5G. The device packs up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone lacks microSD card slot support. The graphical performance on the device is handled by an Adreno 660 GPU. For imaging purpose, the ROG Phone 5s 5G features a triple rear cameras setup which consist of a 64MP primary sensor, 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and 5MP macro sensor. For selfies and video-calling support, the phone comes equipped with a 24MP selfie camera unit. On the software front, the ROG Phone 5s 5G runs Android 11 out of the box.
