Asus Zenfone Go 5.5

The Asus Zenfone Go is an entry-level smartphone device featuring entry-level hardware specifications. The design of the device is very similar to other Zenfone devices that have half-concentric circles on the frontal bottom, and an aluminium finish on the back of the device. Asus devices are known for providing the users with number of software features that come pre-loaded with the device. The display on the Asus Zenfone Go is a 5.5-inch HD IPS unit. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. The display has a below average performance due to its poor contrast ratio and low visibility under direct sunlight.

The devices ships with Android 5.1 Lollipop based on Asus ZenUI. The device will not receive any further Android versions such as Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Although, the software is very optimised and it is filled with plenty of handy features. The performance o the device is nothing to complain about as it handles the multitasking very well, thanks to the Snapdragon 400 chipset and 2GB of RAM. Gaming on this device is not very good, as the GPU is not powerful enough to handle heavy games. The internal memory of the device is 32GB that can also be expanded upto 64GB through a microSD card.

The Asus Zenfone Go does not impress in the imaging department as the resolution of the primary camera is only 8-megapixels. Although there is an LED flash to aid in low-light conditions. A secondary camera is a 5-megapixel unit with an aperture of f/2.0. The rear-facing camera is capable of capturing high dynamic range (HDR) pictures as well as Full HD videos. The battery on Asus Zenfone Go has a capacity of 3,010 mAh that can provide a talk-time of 16 hours on 3G network.  The connectivity options on the Asus Zenfone Go include dual-SIM 3G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, GLONASS, and an FM Radio as wireless connectivity, whereas the wired connectivity includes a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
