Asus Zenfone Go

Asus has come up with yet another entry-level smartphone in the form of Zenfone Go. The latest offering from the China-based smartphone company is targeted towards the budget concerned population.

The Asus Zenfone Go features a 5-inch HD display with decent viewing angles. The smartphone is bright and is not difficult to read when placed under direct sunlight. In addition, the smartphone also comes with an accelerometer, e-compass, proximity, and ambient light sensors.

In terms of imaging, the device does justice to its price tag as it comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with an LED flash meant to capture images and videos in dim-light conditions. For selfie lovers, Asus has equipped the device with a modest 2-megapixel front shooter using which can also be used for video calling. The Asus Zenfone Go is 9.98 mm thick and weighs a hefty 135 grams.

At its heart, the Zenfone Go is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which ensure that the smartphone operates smoothly. Users can afford to work on multiple apps at the same time as the device has 2GB of RAM to support the cause. As far as storage in concerned, the Zenfone variant comes with 8GB of internal storage capacity which can further be expanded using a microSD card.

Sadly, there is no support for LTE therefore users have to stick to 3G along with other standard connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. It is backed up by a Li-Ion 2070 mAh cell and is available in black, red and white colours.
