Celkon Millennia ME Q54 Details

Celkon Millennia ME Q54 is an entry-level Android smartphone that is catered towards consumers who like to capture selfies. It features a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera and a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera. Priced originally at Rs. 5,555, the device features a 5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage (along with a microSD card slot), Android 4.4.2 KitKat, and a 2,000 mAh battery.
The Millennia ME s design resembles to that of the HTC One series of smartphones, thanks to a distinct presence of loudspeakers above and below the display. The capacitive keys below the display can be used for navigating around in the software. The lock/power button as well as the volume control rocker is present on the right hand side of the device, while the left hand side is left completely blank. The microUSB port and the 3.5mm headphone jack are placed on the top, but the bottom of the device is devoid of any connectivity ports or buttons. There s a latch on the bottom to remove the back panel however. The camera unit, flash, Celkon s logo, and a loudspeaker can be seen on the back of the device.
The 5-inch IPS LCD display used in the Celkon Millennia ME Q54 has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. This results in a pixel density of 196 pixels per inch, but the screen is not protected by any kind of hardened material. It means that you have to keep better care of the display while handling the device. This is one of the few smartphones whose front-facing and rear-facing cameras have exactly the same resolution - 5 megapixels as the company wants to target selfie (self-portraits) lovers. The rear-facing camera has a CMOS sensor equipped with autofocus lens and an LED flash, however the front-facing camera sensor lacks autofocus or LED flash. There s no information about the video recording resolution of either cameras.
Running on top of a 1.2GHz quad-core processor (we believe them to be ARM Cortex-A7 CPU cores) of an unknown make, 512MB RAM, and 4GB internal storage, it should perform as every other entry-level Android smartphone from 2014 would. There s a microSD card slot that would help you in expanding the internal storage using a memory card (up to 32GB). There s an ambient-light sensor, proximity sensor, and a gravity sensor. A 2,000 mAh removable Li-Ion battery is provided in expectation of keeping up all things running throughout the day.
It s a dual-SIM Android smartphone, so you ll get to prioritise the SIM cards that will be used for calls, messaging, or internet usage. Every time you perform a voice call or send a message, you can select the SIM card that you want to use for that particular task. HSPA (3G), GPRS/EDGE (2G), and single-band Wi-Fi b/g/n (2.4GHz) can be used for data connection. Bluetooth and microUSB connection can be used for data transfer between compatible devices. Wi-Fi Hotspot can be created to share the Celkon Millennia ME Q54 s Internet with nearby devices that can access Wi-Fi networks.
