Coolpad 1

Coolpad Dazen 1 is a budget smartphone that comes with an 8 MP rear camera, a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset and 4G LTE support.

The device comes with a 5-inch HD display having (1280 720 pixels) screen resolution which offers sharp displays and wide viewing angles. The HD resolution translates in to a pixel density of 294 PPI. The device is sold by the flash sale model via online retailer Snapdeal.

Under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC which is expected to deliver seamless performance while 2GB of RAM ensures effortless multitasking by making the device run smoothly even when there are multiple apps open at the same time.

It comes with 8GB onboard storage to install all necessary apps and also has room for expansion which allows you to store all relevant data, pictures, songs, etc. The Coolpad Dazen 1 is available in moondust grey and baby snow white colours.

In the imaging department, the smartphone features an 8-megapixel rear shooter with an f/2.2 aperture to capture real-life images and record videos. There is a LED flash at the back which makes low light photography look decent. There is also a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper aimed at all selfie lovers. The front camera can also be used to make video calls.

The smartphone comes with 4G LTE support, including support for 4G LTE bands (TDD B40 2300MHz and FDD B3 1800MHz) for India. Other options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooh 4.0, GPS which provides real time navigation and microUSB 2.0 port which allows you to transfer data to and fro from your PC. It is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2500 mAh battery that is expected to keep the device functioning throughout the day. There is also dual-SIM support for the users.

The Dazen 1 is aimed for the low-end market featuring a big screen which is good for viewing photos and videos and also users can enjoy fast connectivity via 4G LTE bands. At this price and spec point, the Dazen 1 is expected to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi 2 and the Yu Yuphoria.
