Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the scaled down version of the Coolpad Note 3. It is the cheapest smartphone device that comes with a fingerprint sensor and 3GB of RAM. The device has soft-touch plastic on the back which is moulded on the sides to provide comfortable feel in the hand. The device measures 140.8 x 70.4 x 8.9mm and weighs 142 grams. Cooled Note 3 Lite is available in black, white and champagne white colour variants. The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is exclusively available via online retailer Amazon.

The smartphone sports a 5-inch IPS HD (1280x720) display, being an IPS panel, the viewing angles are nothing to complain about. The display has average performance, as this a budget device, the screen is comprised to scratch-resistant glass instead of Gorilla Glass protection. In terms of imaging, the entry-level Coolpad Note 3 Lite features an amazing 13-megapixel rear-facing camera coupled with LED flash, it can record videos upto full-HD (1920x1080) resolution. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video calling. Both the cameras feature beautification mode to soften the skin.

The Coolpad Note 3 Lite runs the outdated Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system wrapped under Cool UI 6.0, that is similar to almost all the other smartphones from Chinese manufacturers.  Under the hood, the device ensures flawless performance, courtesy of 64-bit quad-core Mediatek MT6735 chipset having four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.3 GHz. Paired with the MediaTek SoC is 3GB of RAM that can assure superb multitasking. Storing media and other files should never be an issue as the Coolpad Note 3 Lite ships with 16GB of onboard storage which can further be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card.

To keep the device running, there is a 2,500 mAh battery, that is expected to support talk time up to 10 hours. The battery can last about 12-15 hours at moderate usage. For connectivity, the smartphone makes its mark with 4G LTE support on both the SIM cards, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a USB OTG support on the microUSB port.
