Introduction and Display
The Gionee X1s can be called as the bigger brother of the Gionee X1 which was launched earlier. The smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor at the back which the company claims can unlock the device in less than 0.3 seconds. The device isn't very big and features a compact design that makes the smartphone easily fit in the palm or pocket. 
In terms of display, the Gionee X1s boasts a 5.2-inch HD IPS display which is bright and is paired with good viewing angles. The screen on the Gionee X1s is protected against any unwanted scratches courtesy Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Performance and Camera
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek chipset which is coupled with 3GB of RAM to ensure smooth and flawless performance. One can work on more than two apps simultaneously or indulge in graphic-intensive games without worrying about any performance issues. 
For imaging and shooting videos, the device sports a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter that helps you capture selfies and make video calls. At the back, the device comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera which aided with an LED flash that lets you shoot in the dark.
