HTC Desire 626

The Taiwan-based smartphone manufacturer HTC has launched a new device, the HTC Desire 626. The smartphone is an upgraded version of the previously launched Desire 626s in terms of memory and storage while other specifications remain unchanged.

The smartphone comes with the same 5-inch HD display and has similar viewing angles which result in decent outdoor display.

Under the hood lies the same quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset paired with 2GB RAM which ensures smoother sailing. Users can multitask without worrying about any performance issues. The device also has Adreno 306 GPU which brings about a unique gaming experience to its users. Onboard storage has got an uplift from 8 to 16GB and the HTC Desire 626 also has an expansion slot that can expand the storage up to 32GB making enough space for your personal files and apps.

In terms of imaging, the device has a 13-megapixel primary camera paired with an LED flash which aids in low-light photography and a 5-megapixel to please all selfie lovers.

  The device runs the Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system out of the box wrapped under HTC Sense UI. The smartphone is 8.2 mm thick and weighs about 140 grams.

Connectivity options are similar to the HTC Desire 626s and include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port. It is fuelled by a Li-Po 2000 mAh battery which the company claims supports talk time up to 20 hours.
