HTC Desire 820

HTC Desire 820 is a dual-SIM Android based smartphone which comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor. The device will offer Cat 4G LTE support for blazing connectivity. It also comes with an option to upgrade to Android L.

The appearance is very similar to that of the previously launched HTC Desire smartphones. It has colorful plastic backs and front sporting HTC Boomsound speakers running at the top and bottom. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen with (1280x720 pixels) screen resolution having a pixel density of 267 PPI. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor and 2GB RAM which enables blazing fast performance. Storing data and images will not be an issue as the device has 16GB internal storage capacity with a microSD card slot that can boost the storage capacity up to 128GB. The smartphone is 7.74mm thick and weighs 155 grams.

The device runs Android 4.4 KitKat with HTC Sense 6 UI on top. It comes in Marble White (glossy), Tuxedo Grey (matte), Santorini White (glossy), Milky-way Grey (glossy), Tangerine White (glossy), Saffron Grey (glossy), Flamingo Grey (glossy), Blue Mist (glossy), and Monarch Orange (glossy) colour variants. In the imaging department, the smartphone comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash to capture high quality images and record high-definition videos. It also has an 8-megapixel front camera which will please all selfie-lovers and one can quickly upload it on any social media sites via 4G connectivity. Other options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0 port. All these functions without any glitches as the smartphone is fuelled by a Li-Ion 2600mAh battery.
