Powered by a MediaTek processor, the HTC Desire 820s is a variant of the Desire 820. It features a 5.5-inch LCD capicitive display with an HD resolution (720x1280 pixels) a density of around 267 pixels per inch. As far as its design is concerned, the device has the usual Desire family look and feel. It has a plastic chassis but looks quite premium and performs well ergonomically. It weighs around 115 grams and measures 7.7mm in terms of thickness.
In the imaging department, the Desire 820s houses a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front camera to facilitate video-calling and clicking self-portraits. The additional features of the rear camera include face detection, HDR, touch focus, simultaneous HD video and image recording. Apart from being a powerful photography device, the Desire 820s can play almost all audio and video codecs to keep you entertained. Its powerful 64-bit octa-core MediaTek MT6752 (comprising Cortex-A53 cores and a Mali T760 GPU) is clocked at 1.7GHz to ensure that your web-browsing experience and gaming is ultra-smooth.
