Huawei sells some really great phones with excellent performance specs via its Honor sub-brand. After the Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro from last year, we now have their successors. And we’re here to talk about the Honor 30, which sits in between the Honor 30s and the Honor 30 Pro. This 5G smartphone comes with an LCD display that measures 6.5 inches and offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. A powerful Kirin 990 5G chipset sits under the hood and takes on all the processing work for the Honor 30. You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space and the phone runs on Magic UI 3.1, offering Android 10. The phone sports a quad camera system on the rear with a 64MP primary shooter, a 13MP ultrawide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The Honor 30 features a 6.5-inch LCD screen that has a punch hole in the corner for the front-facing camera. The LCD panel offers an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 405 ppi.
Kirin 990 5G Chipset, Rear Quad Camera
The Honor 30 features one of Huawei’s top chipsets in the smartphone market — the octa-core Kirin 990 5G chipset. As the name indicates, it has a 5G modem built into it to make it 5G network-compatible. The onboard GPU is a Mali-G76 MP16 unit that does the graphics processing. You get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The phone runs Android 10 via the Magic UI skin, customized by Honor. The rear camera setup is a 64MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP configuration with the option of shooting zoomed in shots as well as ultrawide shots. You get a 16MP camera on the front that also lets you shoot 1080p videos. The rear camera can record 4K videos.

The battery inside the Honor 30 has a capacity of 4100mAh and it supports 30W fast charging as well. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and A-GPS. The Honor 30 has a fingerprint sensor installed on the side, a Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm port for wired earphones.
