Honor View 30

Honor is Huawei’s sub-brand that has launched some very interesting smartphones in India in the last few years with a focus on good processing power and excellent cameras. The Chinese smartphone brand has now revealed the Honor View 30 — its first 5G network compatible phone. The display on the View 30 is a 6.57-inch LCD screen offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a dual punch hole on it for the front camera system. A Kirin 990 chipset sits inside the phone, handling all the processing for the Honor View 30. You also get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The phone sports a triple camera setup on the back with a 40MP primary shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens and an 8MP ultrawide lens. On the front, there is a 32MP (f/2.0) + 8MP (f/2.2) dual-camera setup with the secondary camera offering an ultra wide viewing angle, making this a very appealing option to photography enthusiasts. The battery on the View 30 is a highlight as it has a capacity of 4200mAh and it supports 40W fast charging as well. The rear camera setup looks unique as it has a rectangular layout and sits nicely on the beautiful glass back sitting on a metal frame. The fingerprint reader is mounted on the side of the phone. The 6.57-inch LCD screen has a dual-camera punch hole and offers a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 401 ppi.

Under the hood, the Honor View 30 features the Kirin 990 chipset, which has a 5G modem built into it. The Mali-G76 MP16 GPU on board takes care of all graphics processing. The Kirin 990 chipset is incredibly powerful and competes with the best processors from Apple or Qualcomm. You get 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space and the phone runs Magic UI 3 and is currently offering Android 10. The rear camera setup is impressive with a 40MP primary camera, an 8MP telephoto lens and an 8MP sensor for shooting ultrawide images. You get a dual-cam setup on the front as well with a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP wide lens. The rear camera allows you to shoot 4K videos while the front camera is restricted to 1080p videos at 30 fps.
4200mAh Battery, 40W Fast Charging, Connectivity
The battery on the Honor View 30 offers a backup of 4200mAh which is good news, generally speaking. What makes it great news is the 40W fast charging speed, which promises a 70% charge in 30 minutes. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and A-GPS. The Honor View 30  has a USB Type-C port but there is no 3.5mm port for wired earphones. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side of the phone.
