Huawei Honor Bee

The Huawei Honor Bee is a low cost, affordable handset from Chinese phone maker Huawei. The handset, which is part of Huawei s Honor series was announced in early 2015 and is exclusively sold through Flipkart. The Honor Bee is a handset with compact dimensions. It measures 129 mm (L) x 66.3 mm (W) x 10 mm (T) across and weighs a tad over 170 grams. The phone features a 4.5-inch display which has a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels giving it a PPI density of 218.  

The Huawei Honor Bee is powered by a Spreadtrum SC7731 chipset that houses a quad core ARM Cortex A7 processor running at 1.2 Ghz. The processor is aided by a Mali 400 GPU that takes care of the 3D graphics. Like many other low cost handsets in its price range, the Huawei Honor Bee also happens to be a Dual Sim handset. there is 8GB of internal memory which can be further expanded using microSD cards. The phone supports microSD cards of up to 32GB capacity. The Huawei Honor Bee gets comprehensive connectivity options - especially for a handset in its price range. These include support for 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR Wifi 802.11b/g/n, Wifi Hotspot, GPS and USB.

Moving on to the imaging capabilities of the phone, the Huawei Honor Bee boats of an 8 megapixel main camera at the rear. Apart from being capable of capturing high resolution videos, the camera on the Honor Bee also gets dual LED flash for low light imaging. Apart from the main camera, there is a 2 megapixel camera at the front that can be used for taking selfies and for video calling. The Honor Bee runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat and is likely to receive an update to Lollipop in the near future.

The 1730 mAH battery that hides under the back cover of the Huawei Honor Bee claims a talktime of 6 hours On 3g networks and 7 hours on 2g networks.
