Huawei Nova 7

Last year may have been a tricky year for Huawei as the Chinese smartphone giant had to deal with being booted off the Android program, and scaring off a lot of potential buyers in the process. But Huawei is definitely one of the best Android manufacturers today, as the company consistently delivers one quality smartphone after another. We hope Huawei’s Android troubles are behind it as the company has revealed its latest mid-range device — the Huawei Nova 7. As the name indicates, the Nova 7 is part of the Nova series lineup for 2020 and features a 6.4-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The Nova 7 packs 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage space and under the hood is an octa-core Kirin 990 chipset. On the back, you get a 40MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad camera system and for selfies, the phone sports a 32MP + 8MP dual punchole camera configuration. The battery capacity of the phone is impressive at 4200mAh plus the phone features 40W fast charging as well. Some of the popular Huawei mobile phones include the P30 Pro, the Mate 30 Pro, and the P30 Lite.

The screen on the Huawei Nova 7 is a full HD+ LCD panel offering a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels at a pixel density of 403 ppi. There is a dual-camera punch hole present on the top left corner.

Premium Huawei devices always feature the company’s Kirin series chipsets, which are made in-house. The Nova 7 is equipped with the flagship-grade Kirin 990 chipset, which comes with a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU to handle the graphics requirements. The phone runs on Android 10 via the EMUI  custom ROM. The device packs 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The camera, as expected from any Huawei phone, delivers the goods. You get a 40MP primary lens and an 8MP secondary ultrawide shooter, as well as an 2MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone sports a 32MP + 8MP front-facing camera unit that can take some great portrait shots thanks to the secondary camera. The rear and front cameras both let you shoot 4K videos.
