Huawei has stuttered with its progress in the smartphone industry since last year. The company has continued to work on its Android-based operating system that works without help from Google. And this platform is getting the right hardware support from its premium and mid-range devices. And the latest to venture into the market is the P40 4G from the company. As always, Huawei has powered the device using its in-house Kirin 990 chipset, that gets paired with 8GB RAM for optimum computing performance that one requires these days. The phone features a 6.1-inch OLED display with support for Full HD+ resolution at 1080x2340 pixels. This offers pixel density of 422 PPI for the screen which also sports a punch-hole design, where you will find the front selfie camera. Huawei phones generally feature top-notch camera system, and the P40 4G is no different. This one has triple rear camera that includes 50MP primary wide-angle sensor, 8MP telephoto camera and 16MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. On the front, the P40 4G has a 32MP wide selfie camera. The back panel is made of glass but with IP53 rating, the phone offers splashproof water resistance. As we mentioned before, Huawei P40 4G runs on EMUI version built over Android 10 operating system that misses out on Google support. You also have 128GB internal storage on the phone that is further expandable up to 256GB using the hybrid SIM slot. You can charge the built-in 3800mAh battery with up to 22.5W speed using the bundled charger. Other features added to the phone include; on-screen fingerprint sensor, face unlock, NFC and USB Type C port for wired music as well as charging.
