Huawei has covered a lot of milestones in the last few years and is today considered one of the top flagship phone makers in the world. While the Chinese company does focus more on the upper end of the Android phone spectrum, a lot of that technological excellence trickles down to its budget and mid-range devices as well. The latest offering from Huawei in the budget price range is the Huawei Y8s. The smartphone sports a iPhone-esque notch on its 6.5-inch LCD panel. The screen offers a full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The chipset within the phone is a Hisilicon Kirin 710 unit, and the phone packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard memory as well with a microSDXC slot for expandable memory. The new Y8s sports a dual camera setup on the back as well as the front. On the back you have a 48MP + 8MP combo while on the front there is an 8MP + 2MP pair of sensors. The battery has a capacity of 4000mAh which should suffice for a full day of use. Some of the popular Huawei mobile phones include the Huawei P40, the Huawei P40 Pro, and the Huawei P40 Plus.

The only good thing about the Huawei Y8s is its imaging capability. The rest of the specs of the device are too old, especially for the price of the device.

You get full HD+ resolution on the display of the Huawei Y8s. The 6.5-inch LCD screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels at a pixel density of 396 ppi. The display has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of roughly 82.8 percent. The front dual cameras are housed in the bathtub notch on the display.
Kirin 710 Chipset, Rear Dual Camera
The Huawei Y8s is equipped with a Kirin 710 chipset, which comes with a Mali-G51 MP4 GPU to manage the graphics processing. The phone has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage space. You also get a microSDXC slot so you can add expandable memory. The Y8s runs on Android 10 with Huawei’s custom Android skin, EMUI 9.1, baked on top of it. On the back, you have a dual camera setup made up of a 48MP primary lens and a 2MP depth sensor that can take portrait shots as well as record 1080p videos. You can record 1080p videos with the front camera setup as well, which is a combination of an 8MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor.
