LG F60 Details

The LG F60 is an entry-level 4G LTE smartphone from the company. Even though it is a low-end device, it has borrowed some of the software features from its high-end sibling, the LG G3. It features a 4.5-inch True IPS LCD display, Android 4.4 KitKat, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 50GB cloud storage, 5MP BSI primary camera, VGA secondary camera, dual-SIM connectivity, and a long-lasting 2,100 mAh battery.
The design of the device is fairly basic the screen, the logo, camera, sensors, and an earpiece on the front that makes the device easy to operate and keep clean. The primary camera, the accompanying flash light, and the company s logo are present on the removable back. Adding or removing the memory card, Micro-SIM card, and the battery is fairly easy, thanks to the removable battery. Unlike many other smartphone offerings from 2014, LG didn t place the power and volume buttons on the back, maybe because its already handy size. They are placed on the sides of the device. The LG F60 embraces matt finish all over its body, making its design is quite understated.
The 4.5-inch 'True IPS LCD' display panel has a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and a pixel density of 207 ppi, quite low for its price point. The display has a capacitive multitouch panel, but there s no protective covering over it. The primary camera has a resolution of 5 megapixels that can record HD 720p videos at 30 frames per second. It has autofocus, touch focus, LED flash, geo-tagging, and Panorama mode. There is a VGA (640 x 480) front-facing camera that is suitable only for video calls.
The F60 is one of the first phones from LG to feature a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. This chipset combines quad-core ARMv8-based Cortex-A53 CPU, Adreno 306 GPU, multi-mode 4G LTE, and other forms of connectivity. Adreno 306 GPU is a slightly beefed up version of Adrneo 305 GPU, and it is decent enough for devices with WVGA screen resolution. 4GB of ROM isn t on par for a smartphone of this price range, but you can expand the storage capacity using a microSD card (supporting up to 32GB cards). Accelerometer and Proximity sensor are present, but an ambient-light sensor is surprisingly missing.
The LG F60 comes pre-installed with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system and LG s custom UI layer on top of it. There s no official work if the device will ever be updated to Android 5.0 Lollipop. LG s software additions to Android include Knock Code (smart screen unlocking), Smart Keyboard (feature-rich on-screen keyboard), Quick Circle Case (a case with circular opening to see content on the screen), Gesture Camera Shot (useful for taking images), and Touch and Shoot. Connectivity options on this dual-SIM smartphone include A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.0, headphone jack, microUSB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and Wi-Fi Hotspot. The 2,100 mAh Li-Ion removable battery supposedly lasts long.
