LG K30 Details

Introduction and Camera
The LG K30 is yet another low-end smartphone in the market. The device packs entry-level hardware and is aimed at initial smartphone users. The handset sports a plastic back panel and is capped with rounded edges that make the LG K30 easy to carry and hold. The device small and compact and can easily fit in the pocket. Also, there is a fingerprint sensor at the back which can be used to unlock the smartphone.
For imaging, there is nothing new; you get a 13-megapixel primary snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter. The rear camera is aided with an LED flash which makes low-light photos and videos possible.
Storage and Battery
The LG K30 ships with an internal storage space of 32GB which you can use to install apps and other data and if 32GB sound insufficient, you can boost the storage further using a microSD card up to 400GB (4TB).
For power, the smartphone sips juice from a 2,880mAh battery which is touted to support talk time up to 5 hours.
Display and Performance
The LG K30 boasts a 5.3-inch HD display which is decent and does its job pretty well. The screen on the smartphone offers bright images and has decent colour reproduction. Sadly, there is no Corning Gorilla Glass protection which is quite common among other devices falling under the similar price segment.
Under the hood, the quad-core Snapdragon chipset which is clocked at 1.4GHz and 2GB RAM ensures a smooth experience. However, the device is designed to carry out basic tasks and suffers from lags while multitasking or playing games over a period.
Connectivity and Platform
Connectivity options that come along with the LG K30 besides dual SIM support include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
On the software front, the smartphone runs the Android 7.1 Nougat operating system out of the box.
