LG V30 Plus

LG announced the release of an upgraded version of their flagship  LG V30, the LG V30 Plus, which boasts of a dual camera setup and more internal storage. The phone is 151x75x7mm and weighs approximately 160 grams. It is available in four colours namely Aurora Black, Cloud Silver, Moroccan Blue and Lavender Violet. It has an all metal body, along with IP68 certified water resistance, making the device very robust and dust proof.  

The LG V30 Plus boasts of a massive 6-inch OLED Panel with a resolution of 1440x2880(537ppi pixel density). It is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5, which makes it resistant to scratches and daily wear and tear. The display is powered by an Adreno 540 GPU. All the above features make the multimedia experience on the LG V30 Plus stellar and leave you wanting for more. The primary camera is a dual camera setup with 16+13-megapixels, an aperture of f/2.2 and LED flash. It supports continuous shooting mode and high dynamic range(HDR). Other features include digital zoom, auto flash, face detection and touch to focus. It can shoot videos at various resolutions which are as follows: 3840x2160 at30 fps, 1920x1080 at 30 fps and 1280x720 at 120 fps. The front camera is a slightly underwhelming 5-megapixel shooter with an aperture of f/2.2. Overall, the quality of images generated by the camera is outstanding, even in low light conditions. 

Driving the beast is the top of the line octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor with four cores clocked at 2.45 GHz and four cores clocked at 1.9 GHz, along with 4GB of RAM and a massive 128GB of storage that can be upgraded to a whopping 2TB(yes, you read that right) via microSD expansion. Powering it is a non-removable 3300mAh Li-Ion battery, which is compatible with Quick Charge 3.0, allowing you to get a full day's worth of charge in a matter of minutes. The device is expected to run Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. It can easily handle multitasking and resource-heavy applications owing to the top of the line hardware it packs. 

The LG V30 Plus has all the connectivity features that are to be expected out of a flagship device such as 802.11 ac Wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and a USB 2.0 port for charging and data transfer. Both the SIM cards are compatible with 4G and VoLTE. It also features a lightning quick rear-mounted fingerprint sensor which adds another layer of security.
