LG X2 (2019)

The LG X2 (2019) comes as the successor to the LG X2 (2018) that was launched in 2018. According to the brand, the X2 2019 will also sell as LG K30 in some markets. According to LG, the X2 2019 is targeted towards users who value all the necessary features of a phone.

The LG X2 (2019) features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution. Unlike many smartphones launched in 2019, the X2 (2019) doesn t have a notch on display. Instead, it has thicker bezels than most of its competitors. LG hasn t provided any information about what kind of display protection does the LG X2 (2019) features.

Even the entry-level smartphones launched in 2019 have a dual-camera at the rear. The LG X2 (2019) is different, though. It comes with a single rear camera a 13MP unit with phase-detection autofocus. Front-facing camera is a 5MP unit, and according to LG, it features a portrait mode to offer background blur in selfies. The brand hasn t provided any information regarding the video recording capabilities of the smartphone. Most probably, it might offer Full HD video recording with cameras on either side.

The LG X2 (2019) uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset, which has a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz and Adreno 308 GPU among other things. The chipset is mated to 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. There is also a microSD card slot supporting cards up to 2TB. The device runs Android 9 Pie OS with a custom theme from LG.

The LG X2 (2019) features a 3000mAh battery. LG hasn t provided any usage battery backup statistics yet. Connectivity features include dual-SIM, 4G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, microUSB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Although the LG X2 (2019) is an entry-level smartphone in terms of price, the device features MIL-STD 810G rating for better durability under rough usage this is something that you get in high-end smartphones. Lastly, the LG X2 (2019) is available in one color variant Aurora Black.
