The Lava Iris Fuel 25 is one of those smartphones that let users browse, game, watch videos and keep talking to their loved ones without worrying about reaching for the charger, thanks a gigantic 3,000 mAh battery.

Lava rates the Iris Fuel 25 for more than a month of standby time and up to 15 hours of calls over a 3G network, something very few competing phones can boast. Unfortunately, other hardware on the device isn't at all impressive. The phone comes with a 5-inch display with a measly 854x480 pixels resolution, and is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz MediaTek processor. There is 512MB of RAM for multitasking, but given Android's high requirements, it might not be enough to offer a convenient experience.

Users can take pictures with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear of the device, and also shoot videos in high-definition. An LED flash ensures that even moments in the dark come out fine. There is a VGA front camera that supports making video calls, though it is of a very low resolution and does not have high clarity. There is 4GB of internal storage and a microSD slot for expansion. Support for Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth means you can transfer images and videos to other users and upload them on the web.

The Iris Fuel 25 features GPS connectivity, and users should be able to navigate long distances using a mapping app like Google Maps without worrying about the battery running out. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat, which allows users to customize their device by downloading tons of apps from the Google Play Store, including popular games and apps like WhatsApp, Candy Crush, Angry Birds, and more.

The large battery on the Iris Fuel 25 is its biggest selling point, as it's not too common to see low-end smartphones that can last so long on a single charge.
