Lava Z50

The Lava Z50 is an entry-level Android smartphone. This is the company's first Android (Go edition) smartphone. The device sports a polished plastic rear panel which looks stylish. Owing to the small screen size, the Lava Z50 is small and compact. 
Under the hood, lies a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek processor which is paired with 1GB of RAM that delivers smooth performance. 

The Lava Z50 comes with two 5-megapixel shooters; one at the back and one at the front. Both the sensors are assisted with an LED flash that can be used to capture images, record videos, shoot selfies and make video calls. 
The smartphone is backed up by a non-removable Li-Ion 2,500mAh cell which can last throughout the day under normal usage. 

On the software front, the Lava Z50 runs Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition), and the device offers search in 10 major Indian languages. 
On top sits a 4.5-inch FWVGA display which is decent but struggles when placed under bright sunlight. Also, to protect the screen from scratches, there is Corning Gorilla Glass protection. 

Connectivity options on the Lava Z50 include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and a microUSB 2.0 port. Users also get to use two SIM cards at the same time as there is support for dual SIM too. 
In terms of storage, the handset is bundled with 8GB of internal storage space which can be expanded further based on users requirements up to 128GB via a microSD card.
