Micromax Bharat 2 Plus Details

Introduction and Platform
Domestic smartphone maker Micromax has expanded its affordable range of devices with the introduction of the Bharat 2 Plus. The Bharat 2 Plus is an upgraded variant of the Micromax Bharat 2, and it ships with improved hardware. The device sports a bar design and weighs about 120 grams.
The smartphone runs the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system out of the box.
Performance and Display
In terms of display, the Bharat 2 Plus features a 4-inch WVGA TFT screen which is bright indoors, but the display is difficult to read once you are out in the sun which is quite common among entry-level smartphones.
Under the hood, the handset is powered by a quad-core MediaTek chipset and 1GB of RAM. Although you cannot expect a lag-free smartphone experience, the device delivers decent performance.
Storage and Camera
The Bharat 2 Plus ships with 8GB of onboard storage space which is expandable via a microSD card.
For imaging, there is a 5-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary shooter which can be used for video calling, selfies, and shooting videos. The rear camera also is aided with an LED flash to handle low-light conditions.
Battery and Connectivity
Being an entry-level smartphone, the Bharat 2 Plus comes with standard connectivity options which include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port.
For power, the device sips its juice from a Li-Ion 1,600mAh battery which the company claims can offer up to 16 hours of talk time and 160 hours of standby time.
