Micromax Bharat 4 Details

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax announced the release of the Micromax Bharat 4, a budget smartphone which aims to offer just the essentials at a very affordable price. The device is aimed at rural and vernacular smartphone users, with its support for 22+ Indian languages. It is 144.5x73x9mm in size and weighs around 150 grams.
Display and Camera
The Micromax  Bharat 4 features a 5-inch TFT panel with a resolution of 720x1280. The display is unprotected, leaving is prone to daily wear and tear. The primary camera is 5-megapixels with LED flash, and the secondary camera is also 5-megapixels. As expected, the camera performance of the device is average, at best, allowing you to capture a decent photo and a grainy selfie. The primary aim of the device is to get 4G and VoLTE to users at an affordable cost, and it sacrifices camera features to achieve it.
Hardware and Software
The Micromax Bharat 4 features a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD expansion. As expected, the performance of the device is sub-par, allowing only the essential applications to function properly. Multitasking and gaming are difficult, given the limited amount of RAM and the underwhelming SoC. It is powered by a 2,500mAh battery which is just about enough to last a day, with light to moderate usage. The smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, which is impressive, considering its hardware.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The Micromax Bharat 4 is a dual-SIM device with one SIM being compatible with 4G and VoLTE and the other SIM compatible with 2G. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. The device is excellent for new users and is reasonably priced.
