Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro

Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax announced the release of the Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro, a pro version of their Canvas Infinity which was an Infinity variant of the Micromax Canvas. It gets incredibly confusing, yes, but I guess that's how Micromax works. The device is available only in black, for now. 

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is yet another device on the 18:9 aspect ration bandwagon with the 5.7-inch IPS LCD panel sporting a resolution of 1440X720 pixels, which is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass of an unspecified version. The primary camera is 13-megapixels with Auto Focus, Face Detection, HDR, Geo-tagging, Touch Focus, Digital Zoom and panorama. The secondary camera is a more impressive dual 20+8-megapixels which are capable of recording full HD videos at 30 fps. 

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is powered by what we hope is a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC(and not a MediaTek), along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD expansion. The amperage of the battery is unknown at this point, but it will most likely by a 3,000mAh battery, as the screen size of the device is large. The device also features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and is expected to run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. 

The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro is a dual SIM phone with compatibility for 4G and VoLTE. Other connectivity features include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG, and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. It also features sensors such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor and a barometer.
