Micromax Canvas Juice 2 Details

The Micromax Canvas Juice 2 is one of the first Micromax smartphones to be powered by Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and is also notable for its large battery capacity compared to competing affordable mid-range smartphones.
Display and Design
The Canvas Juice 2 is spearheaded by a 5-inch display with HD resolution, which comes up to a pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top of the screen protects it from damage, and the IPS technology makes for impressive viewing angles and colour accuracy. The phone is made of plastic but has a metallic finish for a somewhat premium feel, similar to the Yu Yuphoria released by Micromax's online brand.
Platform and Memory
The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop. A quad-core MediaTek processor clocked at 1.3GHz is present inside the device, which should offer better than average performance and, thanks to the 2GB of RAM, an impressive multitasking experience for its sub-Rs. 10,000 price. The device has 8GB of internal storage and a microSD slot that further expands available space for installing one of the many thousand apps available on Android and for storing images and other media files.
Cameras and Battery
The 3,000 mAh battery is rated for 9 hours of talk time and 435 hours of standby, and is no doubt the star of the show here. The cameras on the Canvas Juice 2 aren't as impressive as the other hardware on offer, with an 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel duo for primary and secondary imaging. That's not to say the phone won't be able to take pleasant photos, but users shouldn't expect a very high amount of detail in whatever they capture.
Connectivity and other features
When you talk of connectivity, the Canvas Juice 2 has Wi-Fi support is included for connecting to Wi-Fi networks for free data access, and it is also 3G-enabled for access to the internet on the move. Real-time navigation is possible with the inbuilt GPS module, with the latest mapping info available on Google Maps which comes preloaded on the device.
