Motorola Moto C2 Details

Introduction and Display
The Moto C2 is the successor to last years Moto C, the super affordable smartphone from the company. Motorola launched the new C series only last year, and it has had a lot of success. The C2 carries a similar design to the original C, but with a slightly bigger display. The phone still doesn't come with a fingerprint sensor though.
You get a 5.2-inch LCD IPS display with 720x1280 resolution and 16:9 aspect ratio.
Camera and Battery
As this is a low-end smartphone, the camera clarity is pretty okay on the Moto C2. With the C2, you get an 8MP rear-facing camera, an upgrade from the 5MP unit on the Moto C. In the front, there is still a low-resolution 2MP camera for selfies. You do get camera features such as HDR, Digital zoom, Face detection, and an LED flash for both front and rear cameras.
The Moto C2 is equipped with a 2,100mAh battery with no support for fast charging.
Performance and Storage
The Moto C2 carries a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and an Adreno 306 GPU, which is certainly an upgrade from last years MediaTek SoC. The processor is accompanied by 1GB of RAM and a maximum of 16GB ROM. You can expect a decent performance by the phone. A microSD slot is available for memory expansion up to 64GB.
Platform and Connectivity
This is Motorola's first Android Go smartphone. Android Oreo Go Edition brings the latest Android Oreo software, but is smaller in size and uses fewer resources. Therefore, 1GB of RAM and a low-end processor is enough to run the OS without much lag. This also means that the Moto C2 will get Android updates for the next two years. In terms of connectivity, you get a microUSB port, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual SIM slots, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE support, and more.
