Nokia 8.3 5G

Nokia is one of the biggest brand names in the smartphone business and after a short duration where it disappeared from the market, the company has now made a strong comeback after being taken over by HMD Global. The ex-Finnish, currently-Chinese brand has now revealed it’s newest device, the Nokia 8.3 5G, its first 5G network compatible phone. This phone has the distinction of being the world's first truly global 5G phone, as it supports bands in every country where 5G is deployed. The display on the 8.3 5G is a 6.81-inch LCD screen offering a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with a punch hole on it for the front camera. A Snapdragon 765G chipset manages the computing work for the Nokia 8.3 5G. You get 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. The phone sports an impressive quad-camera setup on the back with a 640MP primary shooter, a 12MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro lens, and finally a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 20MP selfie snapper. The battery on the 8.3 5G is another highlight as it has a capacity of 4500mAh plus it supports 18W fast charging as well. Some of the popular Nokia mobile phones include the Nokia 9 PureView, the Nokia 5310, and the Nokia 5.3.

The 6.81-inch LCD screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and has a punch hole on the top left corner for the selfie camera. The display has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a pixel density of 386 ppi.

Under the hood, the Nokia 8.3 5G packs the Snapdragon 765G chipset, making it compatible with 5G networks. The Adreno 620 GPU installed on the SoC takes care of all graphics processing. You get 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space and the phone runs Android One, currently offering Android 10. The rear camera setup is impressive with a 64MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide shooter, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. On the front you get a 24MP selfie snapper. The rear camera lets you shoot 4K videos while the front camera is restricted to 1080p videos at 30 fps.

The battery on the Nokia 8.3 5G offers a backup of 4500mAh which is pretty good news. Additionally, you also get 18W fast charging which is decent in terms of saving time. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and A-GPS. The Nokia 8.3 5G  has a USB Type-C port as well as a 3.5mm port for wired earphones. A fingerprint sensor is present on the side of the phone.
