Nokia-brand licensee HMD Global has come with the Nokia G20 targeting the affordable smartphone segment. The new phone from the G-series is available in two color variants - Glacier and Night. In terms of display, the phone flaunts a 6.5-inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor that clocks at 2.3 GHz with 4GB RAM. The new phone from the G-series comes with an IPX2 rating making it splashproof. On the optical front, the phone carries a quad-camera setup on the rear (48MP+5MP+2MP+2MP) and a single 8MP camera at the front. The phone comes with OZO Audio for enhanced audio experience during recording videos. Nokia has packed the G20 with 64GB internal memory that is further expandable up to 512GB through a microSD card. The power requirements of the phone are met by the impressive 5050mAh battery with support for 10W fast-charging. The smartphone runs on Android v11 operating system with the promise of up to 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of monthly security patches. Verdict
The Nokia G20 is the mid-range offering from Nokia. The device features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display and is powered by an octa-core Helio G35 chipset. The smartphone offers the average selfie camera and has just 10W charging support. The phone doesn't justify the price tag and fails to deliver customer's needs, considering that we have many other good devices in the same price range like Redmi Note 10, Realme Narzo 30, etc.

In terms of dimensions, the Nokia G20 measures 164.9 x 76 x 9.2mm in dimensions. It is a bit bulky to hold, measuring 197 grams. Available in two color variants such as Glacier and Night, the smartphone is IPX2 rated; thereby, it is waterproof. The G20 features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display having a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 270ppi pixel density. The device houses a waterdrop notch display to accommodate the selfie camera.

In the camera department, the Nokia G20 equips a quad-camera setup on the rear, housing a 48MP primary camera. It is followed by a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth camera. The phone houses a LED flash beneath the quad-camera setup. Upfront, the phone carries a single 8MP selfie camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for securely unlocking the device.
