Panasonic Eluga I4 Details

Introduction
Panasonic announced the release of yet another budget device, the Eluga I4, a successor to the equally popular Panasonic Eliga I3. It has a full metal body and is 146x71x8mm in size, weighing in at 150 grams. It is available in Black, Blue and Gold colours.
Display and Camera
The Panasonic Eluga I4 sports a 5-inch OPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720x1080(294 ppi pixel density). The primary camera is 8-megapixels with LED flash, HDR, digital zoom, auto flash, face detection and panorama. The secondary camera is 5-megapixels with LED flash. As this is a budget device, the camera performance is sub-par, and the display doesn't fare very well either.
Hardware and Software
The Panasonic Eluga I4 is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz, along with 2GB of RAM and 16Gb of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD expansion. The battery is a 3,000mAh Li-Ion unit that should ideally last an entire day with moderate usage. The multitasking capabilities of the device are strictly limited owing to the low amount of RAM and the underpowered, dated processor. The device is expected to run Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box.
Connectivity and Additional Features
The Panasonic Eluga I4 is a dual SIM phone with one SIM card slot compatible with 4G and VoLTE and the other compatible with 3G. Other connectivity features include  802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a micro USB port for charging and data transfer. It also includes other sensors such as a light sensor,  a proximity sensor and an accelerometer. The performance of the phone is average, at best, but it is to be expected as it is a budget device.
