Panasonic P66 Mega Details

Introduction & Design
The Panasonic Eluga P66 Mega is a budget smartphone with large capacity battery. The device is based on Android operating system. The looks of the device are outdated as the display is surrounded by a thick bezel and sharp edges covered with flimsy-looking chrome around it. As a result of thick bezels and unnecessary plastic cladding around the display, the device measures 142.5 x 7.9 x 8.4mm. The rear side of the device has a camera bump with LED flash to the right side and the speaker setup on the left side. The device is available in Rose Gold.
Display & Camera
The display on the Panasonic Eluga P66 Mega is a 5-inch HD IPS LCD panel with a pixel density of 294 PPI. The display is prone to damage during falls as the device is not equipped with any display protection technology.
The imaging section on the Panasonic Eluga P66 Mega includes a basic 8-megapixel rear-facing shooter equipped with an LED flash and a decent 5-megapixel secondary camera.
Software & Performance
The Panasonic Eluga comes loaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system with no guaranteed software updates in the future. The user interface is modified with Panasonic’s proprietary ICON UI that includes redesigned icons, notification bar, application drawer, camera interface and lock screen.
The smartphone delivers decent performance with its quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal memory can be expanded with the help of a microSD card slot that can support a memory card of a capacity up to 32GB.
Battery & Connectivity
The device runs on a large 3,200 mAh Li-Po battery that can provide a talk-time of 11 hours and a standby time of 287 hours. The device can be charged using a microUSB v2.0 port.
The Panasonic Eluga P66 Mega is a 3G-enabled smartphone with dual-SIM connectivity. The device also comes with Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0 and GPS.
