The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Realme, had already proved its mettle in the Indian Smartphone space. It has captured a significant fan base among the Indian consumers and is giving the market leader, Xiaomi a run for the money. Now the company has refreshed its C-series lineup of smartphones with the new Realme C21. The entry-level C-series already has multiple models that include the Realme C11, Realme C12, Realme C15 and Realme C17. As for the specifications, the smartphone flaunts a 6.5-inches IPS LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It has a waterdrop notch at the centre of the display for the selfie camera. Performance-wise, the handset is powered by MediaTek Helio G35 octa-core processor. The chipset is backed by the PowerVR GE8320 for graphical performance. For photography and videography, you get a dual rear camera setup (13MP+2MP) and a single 5MP selfie camera at the front. The onboard storage capacity is decent enough with 32GB that is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. Thanks to its impressive battery capacity of 5000mAh, the device offers backup for fairly long durations. Also, the handset supports fast charging so that you get to refill the battery quickly. The smartphone comes pre-installed with Android v10 (Q) operating system.

Verdict
Realme C21 is a new budget offering in the brand s C-series lineup of smartphones. The brand brings in impressive specs at an affordable price range. The notable features of the smartphone include a big 6.5-inches display, a triple camera setup on the rear that comprises a 13MP primary camera, and two 2MP cameras. Upfront, the phone features a single 5MP selfie camera. The MediaTek Helio G35 processor is a bit below average. Also, the other down points include the absence of fast charging support and only 32GB internal memory.

Design and Display
Design-wise, the smartphone features a waterdrop notch display that encloses the selfie camera. The display is bezel-less and the IPS LCD panel measures 6.5-inches. It offers a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and 270ppi pixel density. 
Camera and Security
For imaging duties, you get a dual-rear camera setup on the rear and a single selfie camera at the front. The rear dual-camera configuration includes a 13MP primary camera, which is accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera. An LED flash is present beside the dual camera setup. A 5MP selfie camera at the front accounts for decent selfies; users can also make video chats using the front camera. The device does not equip any fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication, and the users have to rely on Pin or pattern for securely unlocking the device.
