Samsung expanded its mid-range smartphone series with the Galaxy F series few months back. The brand promises elegant design along with advanced tech features. The new device added to the lineup is the Galaxy F22. This phone carries a 6.4-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display that supports 720x1600 pixels resolution. The screen gets a waterdrop notch and offers pixel density of 274 PPI. The new Galaxy F series phone comes powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. It comes paired with 4GB RAM and offers 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB. The Galaxy F22 features a quad rear camera that includes 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone has an 13MP selfie camera that also supports video calls. The phone comes loaded with a 6000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging via USB Type C port. Other features on the phone are side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock and headphone jack. Verdict
Samsung launched the Galaxy F22 with focus on the budget buyers in the market. It has matched the needs of users with a Super AMOLED display and 90Hz refresh rate at this price which is impressive. The phone comes powered by Helio G80 chipset that does well in this range. You get expandable storage, quad rear camera, massive battery for long backup as well. However, the screen features HD+ resolution, the battery makes the phone bulky and you only get 15W fast charging support. Buy it if you need a phone with long battery life, and decent cameras.
