Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini

Samsung Galaxy J1 Mini is the successor to the Galaxy J1. The latest variant boasts a similar 4.3-inch WVGA display that makes the screen readable. However, users have to struggle to read the screen while out in the sun. Unlike the Galaxy J1, the J1 Mini runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The smartphone ships with basic configurations as the price tag suggests. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Spreadturm processor and 1GB of RAM. With minimal apps, the device runs smoothly but lags at certain instances. For storage, there is 8GB of internal storage space which can further be expanded via a microSD card.

A host of connectivity options that comes along with the device include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a microUSB 2.0 port that helps you transfer files to and fro from your PC. Similar to the Galaxy J1, the smartphone includes a Li-Ion 1,840 mAh cell.

Imaging is taken care by a 5-megapixel rear camera which can be used to click images and record videos. To aid in low-light conditions, there is an LED flash. For selfies, there is a VGA front-facing shooter. There are twin-SIM slots which can be used for using two networks simultaneously.
