Samsung has made its mark with the new Galaxy S21 series, beginning the year early with its flagship product. The new phones compete with the Apple iPhone 12 series, and include three devices. The premium version of the lot is the Galaxy S21 Ultra that features flagship hardware and impressive set of cameras. This phone sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with support for Quad HD+ screen resolution at 1440x3200 pixels. It supports 120Hz refresh rate and gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection on the front and back. The S21 Ultra packs octa-core Exynos 2100 chipset, that comes paired with 16GB RAM and you get 512GB onboard storage. However, the phone misses out on microSD card slot for storage expansion. Samsung has upgraded to One UI 3.1 version built over Android 11 operating system. This is the first Galaxy S phone from Samsung to support S Pen. This device gets a quad rear camera setup that consists of 108MP primary sensor, 10MP periscope lens, 10MP telephoto sensor and 12MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, it has 40MP wide selfie camera. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra comes loaded with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W wired fast charging. It also offers 15W wireless charging. Verdict
Galaxy S21 Ultra is the premium flagship model in the lineup from Samsung. It packs an AMOLED Quad HD+ display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It runs on Android 11 out of box and comes powered by latest Exynos 2100 octa-core chipset that supports 5G network. This is also the first S series phone to support S Pen but there is no slot to keep it. The cameras are much improved though, with the addition of two telephoto lenses. Even the selfie camera is quite good. The long battery backup gets only 25W wired charging support, 15W wireless charging that is lower than industry standards.

The S21 Ultra features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display that offers Quad HD+ resolution at 1400x3200 pixels. It supports 120Hz adaptive refresh rate that switches based on the apps you have opened on the phone to save battery life. The flagship phone also gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the front of the screen and the back body. The fingerprint sensor is integrated into the display and the face unlock works through the front sensor close to the selfie camera.
