A slightly larger version of the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 with number of changes in different areas made the Galaxy S Tab 10.5 tablet. This is world s only Super AMOLED 10.5-inch display panel flaunting tablet to compete with the Apple iPad Air. The massive screen also comes with a massive 2K level 2560 1600 pixel resolution pushing the pixel density of 288 pixels per inch.
Featuring the same look as the other Tab S lineup tablets, the Galaxy S Tab 10.5 has a fake leather like perforated textured rear panel resembling closely with the then flagship Galaxy S5. Measuring mere 6.6 mm thick, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is powered by an octa-core Exynos 5 Octa 5420 mobile chipset which is merely a generation older than the Exynos 7 Octa which will power the 2015 Galaxy family of tablets. This mobile chipset works with a 3GB RAM to drive the TouchWiz UI packing Magazine UX based on the Android 4.4.2 KtiKat update. The tablet is offered in 16GB storage option with an expansion slot that can hold up to 128GB microSD card.
In the front is a 2.1MP camera for video chats and a 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash to great images. The rear snapper also has HDR, panorama and dual camera feature to play around. Samsung has packed stereo speakers for pleasing output while watching videos on the large display.
Faster mobile downloads are ensured with dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Wi-Fi Direct to link it with supporting devices. The Bluetooth 4.0 LE works amazingly with A2DP supporting headsets. The infrared port can turn the tablet in to a large screen remote but there s no FM Radio for enjoyment. MicroUSB 2.0 port offers MHL 2.1 support to connect the tablet with a large screen for projecting the files and other content.To keep the access limited and data secure, the fingerprint sensor can be used aptly.
