Samsung is taking the Ultra moniker to its Galaxy Tab series this year with the S8 model. It is power-packed, 5G supported and giving the iPad Pro a run for its money. The Ultra model of Galaxy Tab S8 carries a larger 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display with support 1848x2960 pixels resolution which produces pixel density of 420 PPI. The device runs on Samsung One UI based over Android 12 operating system. The tablet comes powered by octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset paired with 12GB RAM for heavy performance users. Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offers 256GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 1TB using the dedicated card slot. This tablet comes equipped with a dual rear camera that includes a 13MP and 6MP sensor. On the front as well it has a dual 12MP and 12MP shooters that assists you with video calls. Samsung has added an 11200mAh battery on this tablet which offers 45W fast charging support via USB Type C port. Other features on the tablet includes an on-screen fingerprint sensor, face unlock, Dolby Atmos-powered speakers and USB Type C for music interface. Verdict
Samsung's new Ultra version of the Galaxy Tab S8 is power-packed and delivers everything you expect from a premium device. The performance is top-notch thanks to 12GB RAM, and ample storage which is further expandable. The cameras on both sides are good, and the battery life should keep you going for long time. But again, Android OS on a tablet has never convinced us and that's why we take one point away from this product.
