Sony Xperia E

Sony Xperia E runs on 1 GHz single core Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon and Adreno 200 GPU. It has 512 GB RAM and 4 GB internal storage, out of which only 2 GB is user available. It is expandable up to 32 GB using the microSD card slot present on the device. It has accelerometer and proximity sensors.

The device has 3.5-inch TFT capacitive screen with HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution that gives an effective pixel density of about 165 PPI. It is multi touch up to two fingers. It runs on Timescape UI and has a scratch resistant glass. In terms of design, Sony Xperia E is a small candy bar phone that easily fits in the pocket. The home screen buttons are not backlit which makes it difficult to operate in dark. The Xperia E is available in white, black and pink colors. It weighs 115 grams and measures 11 mm around its waist.

Sony Xperia E is equipped with a 3.15 MP back camera which only has geotagging. It lacks autofocus and LED flash. It can also record VGA videos.

In terms of multimedia output, it has Walkman music player. It also has a FM radio. The phone can also play all the common multimedia audio and video files including MP3, MP4 and WMP etc.

Sony Xperia E runs on Android v4.1 (Jelly Bean) with Touchscape UI on top of it. You can stay connected through messaging features such as SMS, MMS, push mail and IM. The android apps available on the device are Hangouts, Gmail, Maps etc.

In terms of battery performance, Sony Xperia E provides considerable talk time of 6 hours in 2G and 3G networks with its 1530 mAh battery. Sony Xperia E runs on quad band 2G and 3G networks.
