The phone comes with a 5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, which has a qHD (960x540 pixels) screen resolution with a pixel density of 220 PPI. It runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

The Sony Xperia E4 sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, which enables users to click quality images and record videos. The device also has a 2-megapixel fixed focus front camera, which enables video-calling and selfies along with HD video recording. In terms of design, the phone is 10.5 mm thick and weighs 144 grams.
