As the name suggests, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a flagship smartphone. The other variant is the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and the XZ2 Premium features a refreshed design. Sony has moved away from the side-mounted fingerprint reader design, and now the fingerprint scanner is placed at the back. Also, the handset ships with IP68 certification which ensures that the device is water-resistant and dust-proof. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium being a premium smartphone also has support for wireless charging.
In terms of imaging, the device is bundled with dual 19+12-megapixel primary shooters and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
