Spice Stellar 526n Octa

Spice has introduced yet another power-packed device in its Stellar series. The new Stellar 526n Octa is a dual-SIM smartphone which supports two GSM SIM modules together.

Spice has powered this handset with 1.4GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 system-on-chip teamed with quad-core Mali-450GPU for graphics. Spice has packed 1GB of RAM and offered 8GB of on-board storage which can be expanded with up to 32GB microSD card.

Stellar 526n Octa sports a 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash for imaging and recording videos. In the front is a 3.2 megapixel camera for video calls and selfies. The camera quality should be good enough to share the images over social networks and instant messengers.

This smartphone features a 5-inch IPS display with on-cell technology and HD (1280x720p) pixel resolution. Pushing a pixel density of 294 PPI, this display is crisp and offer fair amount of colours. Spice has pre-loaded the Android 4.4 KitKat version by default but the Android 5.0 Lollipop update is being planned for this phone.

Data connectivity is taken care of by the 3G network support in one of the slots and 2G network in the other slot. It also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS with A-GPS under connectivity options. The microUSB port allows charging and data transfer while the the standard 3.5 mm port lets the user plug any pair of headphones to enjoy music.

Spice has packed 2,500 mAh battery with a promise of up to 280 hours of standby time in this 8.3 mm t hick smartphone.
