Xiaomi is now preparing its next set of affordable devices as part of the Redmi 10 series. The new lineup gets improved design, better quality cameras and new variants which includes the Redmi 10 Prime. This new Redmi 10 model flaunts a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display that supports 1080x2400 pixels resolution. The screen comes punch hole design and offers pixel density of 405 PPI. Redmi 10 Prime comes powered by the new MediaTek Helio G88 octa-core chipset, along with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage that is further expandable up to 512GB. Redmi 10 Prime comes equipped with a quad rear camera that comprises of 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, 2MP sensor and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it comes with an 8MP selfie camera that also support video calls. The phone gets backed up with a 6000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging via USB Type C port. Other features on the phone are side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock and headphone jack for music streaming. Verdict
Redmi 10 Prime crosses the Rs 12,000 mark to graduate from a budget to a mid-range device for buyers. It uses the new MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, but this variant gets 4GB RAM only. The LCD display supports 90Hz refresh rate, and offers Full HD+ resolution. The storage is expandable, and even with a 6,000mAh battery the phone is comfortable to hold. However, the cameras are average for the price, and so is the 18W charging support.

Redmi 10 Prime gets a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display that offers screen resolution at 1080x2400 pixels with a pixel density of 405 PPI. The screen gets a punch hole design that houses the front camera. The 20:9 aspect ratio display offers larger viewing area and screen to body ratio upwards of 83 percent. The power button and the volume rocker are on the right side of the phone. The main security features are side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock through the selfie camera.
