Asus Zenfone Max M2 Details

Display, Processor, Connectivity and Security Features
The ASUS Zenfone Max M2 32GB gets a large 6.26-inch IPS LCD display with a prominent notch at the top. This panel boasts of HD+ resolution (1520 x 720 pixels) in a tall 19:9 aspect ratio. With 430 nits of brightness, the display is also among the brightest in its price segment. Adding a bit of oomph to the overall design of the phone is the curved 2.5D glass treatment at the front. Powering the ASUS Zenfone Max (M2) is the relatively new Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC (System on Chip) that houses an octa-core processor. The graphics department is handled by Qualcomm’s Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes with 3GB of LPDDR3X RAM variants and 32GB of internal storage. It has a triple slot that can house two SIM cards and a single microSD card all at the same time. As far as connectivity is concerned, the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 32GB offers support for Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, AGPS, and GLONASS. Both the SIM card slots are 4G VoLTE ready as well.  For security, the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 32GB offers the standard set of Android features (PIN, pattern, and password) apart from two biometric options - a fingerprint scanner (at the rear) and face unlock using the front-facing camera.
Camera and Imaging
The ASUS Zenfone Max M2 32GB gets a dual camera set up at the rear that integrates a primary 13-megapixel camera with f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 2-megapixel camera that acts as a depth sensor. The primary camera at the rear is also capable of recording 4K UHD videos at 30 fps. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture. Thanks to an integrated Softlight LED flash at the front, the Zenfone Max M2 32GB should also perform well as a selfie camera in low light situations. While the rest of the phone offers the user a stock Android experience, the camera UI is ASUS’ own and offers a lot of features over the stock Android Camera app.
Battery And Software
As evident from its name, the ASUS Zenfone Max M2 is from the company’s Max lineup of smartphones that are known to pack in high capacity batteries. This handset, therefore, houses a large 4,000 mAh battery that ASUS claims will last two days of normal usage. ASUS also claims that the large battery will also enable users to watch Youtube videos over Wi-Fi for more than 13 hours at a stretch. The phone also claims a 4G standby time of more than 33 days.
