The Gionee F103 Pro is a sleek and stylish smartphone device. The device is fully made out of aluminium alloy. On the rear of the device is the shiny Gionee logo and it looks just like a fingerprint scanner, but the device misses out on one. The front of the device comprises of thin bezels and the display that is covered by the Asahi Dragontrail glass.

The Gionee F103 Pro accommodates a 5-inch HD IPS display. The viewing angles, as well as the brightness levels are excellent. The sharpness though is just average due to the lack of a Full HD unit, nonetheless; it is nothing to complain about.  The primary camera on the Gionee F103 Pro is a 13-megapixel unit with autofocus and LED flash. The secondary camera is a 5-megapixel unit with display flash. The display flash is very brilliant use of the display while capturing images using secondary camera in low-light as it helps in brighting the environment and delivering brighter pictures. The primary camera records Full HD videos, whereas the secondary camera can record HD videos.

The device comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS. The operating system is wrapped under Amigo UI 3.2; it provides with plenty of added features. For smoother multitasking Gionee has equipped the device with 3GB of RAM. The internal memory of the device is 32GB. Sadly, it cannot be expanded further as there is no memory card slot.

The connectivity on the Gionee F103 Pro includes dual-SIM 4G, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, and a microUSB v2.0 port with the support for USB On-The-Go for connecting storage devices on the go.  The battery backup is the weakest point of the device, as it comes with 2,400 mAh non-removable battery. There is also no quick charging technology on the Gionee F103 Pro. Although, Gionee promises 13 hours of 3G talk time.
