Honor 9S

The Honor 9 series were incredibly popular when the phones made their debut in India because the colors and design offered by Honor in the range were unique and eye-catching, and the devices themselves offered amazing value for money. Honor got pushed to the back after that though, with Xiaomi, Realme, and smaller players like Nokia and Motorola stealing the spotlight as well. It seems like Honor is trying to win the favor of the masses again, but one is unsure if the Honor 9S really was the right choice. The new budget phone, which seems like it was waiting for a launch in 2017 before time froze, is quite outdated when compared to similarly priced peers today. This smartphone comes with a capacitive display measuring 4.5 inches across and offers a resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. A Helio P22 chipset under the hood manages computer tasks for the Honor 9S and you also get 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The phone sports a square camera module on the back with a single camera, an 8MP sensor. On the front, there is a 5MP camera for your video calls and selfies. The battery on the Honor 9S is a bit disappointing as well, since it has a capacity of just 3020mAh. Some of the popular Honor mobile phones include the Honor View 30 Pro, the Honor 9X, and the Honor View 30.

Honor 9S Details

5.45 inch Display, No Notch
To be completely honest, the design of the Honor is rather outdated. There is no notch present, which is a good thing but unfortunately it does make the phone look old. The Honor 9S comes with a 5.45-inch capacitive screen and offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels. The display has an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a pixel density of 295 ppi.
Helio P22 Chipset, Single Rear Camera
You can t expect stellar performance out of the Honor 9S as it is equipped with a Helio P22 chipset, which is a bit sub par when it comes to performance. The graphics processing is managed by the onboard PowerVR GE8320 GPU. You get 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage space with the option of adding expandable memory thanks to the memory card slot. The phone runs Android 10 via Magic UI 3, Honor s custom ROM. Google services are not present on this phone so you will not be able to use Gmail, G Calendar and other Google apps. The camera specs are modest as the rear camera is an 8MP with a 5MP shooter on the front. The rear camera lets you shoot 1080p videos, just like the front camera.
3020mAh Battery, Connectivity Options
The battery on the Honor 9S has a capacity of 3020mAh which is disappointing. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band WiFi, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, FM radio, and A-GPS. The Honor 9S has a micro USB port for charging and a 3.5mm port for your earphones. The Honor 9S lacks a fingerprint sensor.
