Huawei’s sub-brand, Honor, has always had some well-rounded devices available for Indian smartphone buyers. And while the brand may have suffered a few hiccups last year because of difficulties with Google, it looks like the Chinese company is ready to put all that behind them in 2020. The latest device from its 2020 catalogue is the Honor Play 9A. This budget smartphone comes with an LCD display that measures 6.3 inches and offers a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. You get a Helio P35 chipset under the hood that handles all the computing work for the Honor Play 9A. You also get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone sports a dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait snaps. On the front, you get an 8MP snapper for video calling and selfies. And the battery specs are sure to sway buyers as it packs a whopping 5000mAh, although it does not support fast charging. The computing power of the Honor Play 9A comes from its octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The GPU on board the SoC is the PowerVR GE8320 that takes care of all graphics processing during gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks. You get 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space with the option of adding 256GB via the microSDXC slot. The phone runs Android 10 via the custom ROM, Magic UI 3.0.
