The SoC features a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU that handles the graphics processing. The phone runs on EMUI 10, which is Huawei s custom Android ROM offering Android 10. The device packs 8GB of RAM with 256GB of onboard storage. The camera is one of the highlights of the Mate 40 Pro thanks to the AI-packed quad shooter setup on the rear. You get a 48MP primary lens and a40MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide camera, as well as a 5MP depth sensor. As expected, the night mode and zoomed images are excellent on the Mate 40 Pro. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP + 2MP selfie camera that can take some great portrait shots. You can shoot 4K videos on the rear camera but you re limited to full HD videos with the front camera.
